I recently started work on a space ship prop from an old Sci-Fi television show called "Space 1999.  the ship

is called the Eagle 3.  this particular ship was interesting to me for a number of reasons.  one, being that

as a kid, i grew up watching it, and also that it is such an interesting and realistic type of a ship.

Here, i started with the framework. 

Next as you can see, I started working on the ship's engines.  before i can start actually

painting, I have to build each prop, and item.  

as you can see, i have started adding some of the interior parts.

here is the lunar landing pod that belongs in the center of the ship.  it is detachable, and used for a

science research base.

this is the bottom of the ship.  i have started working on the landing gear and detail work for the model

this would be the front cockpit/capsule.  i still have to build the landing gear itself, and then i will be able to

begin work on the textures.

first in a series of models for a scene that will be a "star dock"   here the modeling of the actual dock has been mostly

completed.
